On the Grow Card

I colored this card with Stampin Up's Watercolor Wonder Crayons.  I stamped the images with Stazon Ink onto watercolor paper.  Then once I finished painting the image using my Aqua Painter, I applied Crystal Effects to the vase/jar and flower centers.  It's too bad that you can't see it in the photo, but the jar has a cool glass look to it!

I used the On the Grow stamp set in the Summer Mini Catalog with Pacific Point, Lucky Limeade, and Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I stamped the small flower from the Fabulous Florets stamp set onto the card base using Daffodil Delight classic ink to create a soft flower background.

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!  Be sure to check back next week, I'll have another video tutorial for a cute christmas box!

Hello Blossoms Card

The summer has been engulfing me lately, so I had to make some flower cards.  On this card, I used the single stamp from the Summer Mini Catalog called Hello Blossoms.  I colored the image with my SU markers in Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, and Daffodil Delight and stamped it onto Whisper White cardstock.  I then took a strip of Old Olive cardstock and made small cuts across it and ruffled up the edges to get the "grass" look.

I cut the card at 4 1/4" x 11", then scored it in half and cut off 2 1/2" before using the Scallop Edge punch.  I layered the flower image over Rich Razzleberry cardstock then over Old Olive cardstock that I ran through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder (Big Shot machine). I added some bling by using the 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds.  I couldn't decide if I wanted to leave the "hello" expression in the flower centers or cover them; the card looked nice both ways.  But on this card I covered the letters using 1/4" punched circles.  The smaller white centers were punched out using an 1/8" circle punch.

Finally, I layed down some Sticky Strip and scrunched some White 3/8" Taffeta ribbon on it for the pretty card edge.  So, thanks for visiting and you can order any of the products I used to make this card by going to my Demonstrator Website here and clicking on "Shop Now"!  And don't forget about my Frequent Buyer Rewards too!

Thanks for the feedback and July Special Reminder!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who left me such kind comments about my video tutorial!  I know that most of us just blog surf and usually never leave comments, so I really appreciate you taking the time to!  So, more videos will be coming soon....

In the meantime, don't forget that July 31st (this Sunday) is the last day to take advantage of the $99 Demonstrator Sign Up Special. I personally send my out-of-state downline cards I use for my monthly Hostess Clubs, I give a sign up gift, I give great business advice, I send samples of camp projects and more!  And don't forget that you can sign up and quit whenever you need to, but I don't think you'll ever want to quit.  Now's a great time to sign up because you get to preorder from the NEW Holiday Mini Catalog starting next month!  So, please contact me if you're interested in becoming a demonstrator (505) 299-9677 or email me at: stampingmaria@yahoo.com or go to my Demonstrator Website here to read more about the Starter Kit and Stampin Up Benefits.

My First Video Tutorial - Yahoo!!

Window Sheet Stamping and Coloring Video:

This is a Convention swap card I made and a couple of the other swappers asked me what technique I used to color the pear, so I thought I'd share the technique with everyone.  It's an oldie, but goodie; I learned the technique from fellow demonstrator Margo Kelly, thanks Margo!  So, here's my first video, I hope you like it!

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial!  I know I'm a little stiff, hopefully I'll do better next time.  Please leave me a comment if you liked it and want to see more!

Have a great weekend!
