Tea Shoppe Telescoping Card made with Labels Framelits

This is a card we made at Sale-a-Bration Stamp Camp last weekend.  We used the new Tea Shoppe Stamp Set and embossed the teacup on Concord Crush cardstock using VersaMark ink and Clear Embossing Powder.  To cut out the three sections, we used the new Labels Framelits (gotta have these!) with Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder, and Whisper White cardstock.

SAB Everyday Enchantment DSP amd Fresh Vintage Stamp Set

I LOVE Sale-a-Bration; it's the one time of year we get those FREEBIES that help stretch our dollars!  This is one of the cards my Hostess Club members are going to make this month.  I really am LOVING the new Framelits Stampin Up is now offering; thy're easy to use and make a project look fantastic!  You can't see it well, but after I finished the card, I sprayed it with Champagne Mist Shimmer paint mixed with 70% Rubbing Alcohol for some extra shimmer!

Supplies:
Stamp Set:  SAB Fresh Vintage
Cardstock: SAB Everyday Enchantment, Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla, and Baja Breeze.
Ink: Crumb Cake pad (used for sponging), Markers: Baja Breeze, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, and Lucky Limeade.
Accessories: Big Shot machine, Labels Collection Framelits, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Peach Parfait 1/2"  Poly ribbon, Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, Eyelet Border punch, Simply Scored tool, Stripes Embossing folder, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Pearls, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Sticky Strip, and SNAIL.

To make the DSP pleated paper ribbon on the bottom of the card, I cut a strip of DSP measuring 1 1/2" x 12", then I used the Simply Scored tool to score it as follows: 3/4", 1", 1 3/4", 2", 2 3/4", 3", 3 3/4", etc...until I finished at 11 3/4" .  After I scored it, I punched one edge with the Eyelet Border punch. then folded at the score lines to get the pleated look.  I held it together, and applied it to the card, with Sticky Strip.

Have a great weekend and contact me if you live in Albuquerque and would like to join one of my Hostess Clubs or if you have any questions about today's project!

Easy Events Valentine's / Anniversary Card

Good morning all!  This is the card I gave my hubby for Valentine's Day.  We made this card at Convention last year and I loved that it could be used for an Anniversay, for a "Thinking of You", or any other "love" occasion.  This Easy Events stamp set is REALLY easy to color and it covers 8 different occasions; I LOVE it!   You can't see it well in the picture, but I added Dazzling Diamonds gliiter to the tree leaves too; gotta have some BLING!

Supplies Used;
Stamp Set: Easy Events
Ink: Black Stazon, Wild Wasabi, Soft Suede, Pool Party, and Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Naturals White, and Melon Mambo
Supplies: 1 3/4" circle punch, Itty Bitty Punch pack, Bakers Twine, 2-way glue, Dazzling Diamonds, Stampin Dimensionals (on every project I make!), 1 1/4" Wild Wasabi Striped Ribbon, and Aqua Painter.

Happy Wednesday and "talk" to you later!

Personal stuff: I got some bad news yesterday.  My mom got a new wheelchair and she fell out of it over the weekend.  We got X-Rays yesterday and she has a fracture in her leg.  I don't know what the doctor will suggest, but since she's paralyzed there's probably not too much they can do.  Mom's in a lot of pain, so thanks for any prayers you send her way!

Happy Valentine's Day with Greeting Card Kids!

I made this adorable Valentine's ornament for my niece; she's as cute as the little girl in this stamp set!  I used the Greeting Card Kids stamp set and I stamped her in Black Stazon onto Shimmer White cardstock.  I used my Aqua Painter with Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Pink Pirouette, and Soft Suede ink pads to color her.  I added a touch of BLING by applying Cherry Dazzling Details (glitter glue) to the heart and hair bow.

I cut her out with the 1 3/4" circle punch and distressed the edge of the circle a little.  I layered her onto a 2" Basic Black cardstock circle I cut out using my Circle Cutter, then layered that on top of a Daffodil Delight cardstock piece I cut using the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch.

The Real Red cardstock Rosette was die cut using the Big Shot and the NEW Designer Rosette XL Die.  I made the Rosette with 2 strips of Real Red cardstock measuring about 1 3/4" x 12"; I used the scallop edge of the die.  I backed the Rosette using Shimmer White cardstock and the NEW Paper Doily sizzlet die.  But before I adhered the red rosette to the doily, I added a ribbon loop using the Real Red Satin Ribbon.

Thanks for visiting and contact me if you have any questions.  Have a wonderful day with your favorite loved ones!

Valentine's Day Matchbox Die Treat Holder

Added 2/11/12:  A couple of people emailed me asking what the inside of the matchbox looks like, so I'm adding this photo showing the back of the box and the wrapped candy.  Thanks for asking!

Happy Friday and welcome to my final Valentine's Day treat holder post; I hope you liked seeing these this week!  Next week I'll have a couple of cards to show you instead.  Today's holder is made using the Stampin Up XL Matchbox die.  It holds 4 Hershey Nuggets perfectly.  I die cut the box wrap using Real Red cardstock and the box was die cut using Basic Grey cardstock.  I decorated the sides and top of the box using Love Impressions Designer Paper (on the Clearance Rack).

To make the rosette on top of the box, I cut a piece of DSP to 1 1/2" x 12" then used Stampin Up's Simply Scored to score it at 1/4" intervals then ran it through the Lace Ribbon Border Punch shown above.  I accordian folded on the score lines and used Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (which Stampin Up sells) to adhere it to a
2 3/8" Pink Pirouette Scallop Circle base.

I ran the box wrap through the Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder for some dimension. Then after adhering the box parts using Sticky Strip, I wrapped it with 1/4"  Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon and punched out a couple of hearts from Red Glimmer paper as accents and for BLING!

Thanks for visiting this week; I hope you enjoyed these CUTE and QUICK projects.  I LOVE the Big Shot dies and how much they help me get things done faster and easier!

Valentine's Day 1"x 8" Cello Bag Heart Treat

Hi again -  I know, this isn't made with a Stampin Up die, but I just thought it was CUTE and QUICK!  I put Tootsie Roll Midgees in 2 of the narrow cello baggies (1" x 8") and adhered them together in a way that would form a heart.  Then I wrapped the heart with Poppy Parade Poly Twill ribbon.  I just started wrapping, so I'm sorry I didn't measure how much ribbon I used.  These were easy to make with the Midgees because they made bending easy; I didn't try M&M's or jelly beans, but these should work great too.

Thanks again for visiting and see you tomorrow!

Valentine's Day Treat Holder from Scallop Envelop Die

Happy Wednesday all!  Here's another 1/2" treat holder box.  You can see from the photos above that it holds 2 snack sized candies or a package of chewing gum or 2 Ghirardelli chocolates - oh my the options are endless!  Buying candy to make these treat holders is making me gain weight!

The below photo shows how I cut the Scallop Envelop to create the box.  You'll need 2 pieces like that in the photo and just glue together at the 3 edges using Sticky Strip.  I die cut my 2 pieces from Melon Mambo cardstock.  I used the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set (Sale-a-Bration set) with Melon Mambo classic ink for the box decorations; with Dazzling Diamonds glitter for the BLING of course!  Also, I ran the box front piece through the Big Shot with the Lots of Love Texture Plate and VersaMark ink (I love this look)!
So, thanks for visiting and come by tomorrow for another CUTE and QUICK treat holder idea!

Valentine's Day Pillow Box decorated with Owl Punch

This week I'm featuring CUTE and QUICK Valentine's Day treat holders using Stampin Up Dies.  Today I used Stampin' Up's Pillow Box die and I decorated it with the Owl Punch (wings from the Bird Builder punch) and the scallop circle from the Perfect Pennants die.   I added wings to the owl because I wanted him to look really excited and happy for Valentine's Day!  For the owl's front, I used the Love Impressions Designer Paper that's currently for sale on the CLEARANCE RACK.  Don't forget that for every $50.00 of product you purchase (before tax and shipping), you get a FREE Sale-a-Bration item!

Supplies: Real Red, whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Black cardstock.  1/4" red grosgrain ribbon and 1/8" red taffeta ribbon.  Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set with Real Red classic ink.  Cherry Dazzling Details glitter glue and Red Glimmer paper.

Thanks for visiting and contact me if you have any questions!

Valentine's Day Treat Holder Week!

Happy Monday everyone!  This week I'm featuring all the Valentine's Day treat holders I've been making using different Stampin Up Big Shot dies.  I was on some kind of roll and just kept putting them together.  You can use these for Valentine's Day, Easter, or any occasion!

Here's the first one made with the Petite Pocket XL Die and the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit.  I used Real Red and Whisper White cardstock; the pocket holds a Kit Kat snack sized candy.  I ran the heart embosslit through the Big Shot twice and layed the first ones flat then creased the second ones and used Mini Glue Dots to adhere them over the first layer.  To finish it off, I added dots of Cherry Dazzling Details glitter glue to the embossed hearts.

For this second treat holder I used the Bitty Box XL die and the Scallop Hearts and Fashionable Hearts Embosslits.  I also used the large heart punch, the small heart punch, the Word Window punch, the 2 3/8" circle scallop punch, the 1 3/4" circle punch and the Owl punch.  The box was made with Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, and Red Glimmer paper.  The box holds 4 bite sized Snickers perfectly - yummy!
You can't see it well in the photo, but I also decorated the Pink Pirouette box using the Lots of Love Texture Plate and VersaMark ink.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!  See you tomorrow with more V-Day goodies!
