Flight of the Butterfly CD Folio

I came up with this project because I wanted a way for demonstrators or brides or whomover to say "thank you" and give a gift of a CD holding pictures or music. I took pictures of sample boards at a SU Regional event and I thought how cool would it be to make a CD of the cards and give it as a "thank you" to my hostesses who booked workshops. I also thought this would be a great way for a married couple to send a photo/music "thank you" to guests at their wedding. I shared this project with my upline and sidelines last July and I hope you like it too!

I used Flight of the Butterfly stamp set; Gable Green, Whisper White, and Brilliant Blue Cardstock; 2-way glue; Dazzling Diamonds; Butterfly Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch; Brilliant Blue and Gable Green classic ink pads; and Sticky Strip, Mini Glue Dots, and Stampin' Dimensionals.

I included a copy of the Template I provided at our demonstrator function that shows the score lines and paper sizes; click on photo to see larger image. You'll notice that I didn't put Sticky Strip all the way across the bottom of the folio; this was so that the CD could slide all the way to the bottom edge of the paper. Since I was trying to stay within the 12" length, the CD had to slide all the way to the bottom. Thanks for stopping by and email me if you have any questions!

My Digital Studio Card Samples

I love the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio software because it enables me to create with stamp sets and papers I don't even have! I also love the ability to add shading to images and words! These were the first 2 cards I designed and I was amazed at how clear the ribbons and metal brads appeared. I was able to mix stamp sets, papers, punches, and colors! Let me know if you have questions about these cards or about My Digital Studio!

Baskets and Bloom Bird Box

Hi again! This was my second trade at Regional. I made this altered box using the Stampin' Up! Baskets and Blooms Big Shot XL Die. You just use the 2 basket pieces and modify a bit; I found the idea on Angie Juda's website. I also used the new Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch, the Trio Flower punch, and a 1/8" punch for the flower centers. I used Regal Rose cardstock and sponged on Rose Red ink, Old Olive and Certainly Celery cardstock and sponged on Old Olive ink, and Whisper White cardstock and applied Real Red Pastel to the bird's stomach and wing. Finally, I used the Basic Black marker for the bird's eye and Summer Sun marker for the bird's beak. I tied a grograin white ribbon around the handles and of course I used 2-way glue and glitter on the bird and flower centers! This will be another project at my open house. I hope you like it and please email if you have a question. Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine's Peppermint Patty Treat

I made this to trade at the Stampin' Up! Phoenix Regional event. It was awesome! Everyone liked it so much that I decideed to offer this as one of the projects at my Mini Catalog Open House on January 24th (it's free for my customers - you get to make a couple of projects, see samples, and see new merchandise - from 2:00pm to 8:00pm - email me if you'd like to attend). I saw the idea at Becky Robert's and many other websites.

I used Real Red and Pretty in Pink cardstock, Love you Much and Hello Again stamp sets, striped red ribbon, and various punches. You can't see it well, but I also added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to each of the images - bling, bling!! Email me if you have any questions.

Sale-a-bration Preview

To make this card, I used Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, and Green Galore cardstock, tempting turquoise brads and ribbon, and varoius punches. I used the new Happy Moments stamp set and the new Scallop Trim Punch from the Sale-a-bration mini catalog; both of these can be yours for FREE - ask me how! You can see I added glitter to the gift packages too - you gotta love the bling!
