Here's the last Stampin' Up Tutorial for this week; it's a great Halloween Treat Holder made from the Petite Purse Die and textured with the Chevron Embossing Folder.
Have a great weekend and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
PERSONAL Note: I'm still working on my husband's last project, and I hope to be done by the middle of September. Projects always end up taking longer than you think! Last week was really difficult because it was his Birthday and the 3-month mark of his passing away. I can tell you I cried rivers of tears last week. Going to a weekly grief group is the only thing keeping me sane. It helps to know that what I'm feeling is "normal". So, thanks again to all of you who have prayed for me and who've taken the time to leave me lovely comments!

Stampin' Up! Video showing the Faux Metal Technique
Did I tell you this is SU Video Tutorial week? I love Shannon West's videos, she's been at SU for years and has great talent. In this video she shows you how to create the Faux Metal look on cards. The card that Shannon demonstrates (photo below) is on page 105 of the 2012-2013 SU Catalog.

Stampin' Up! Video using Tea Shoppe Stamp Set
You know I had to post this because it includes my two favorite things: video instruction and boxes! The SU video below shows how to make the cute sectioned box on page 56 of the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog. I'm going to use this layout/idea for other holidays too, like Halloween and Christmas. You can do anything with a great box!

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!
Personal Note: Some of you have emailed asking how I'm holding up and I just wanted to let you know that I'm hanging in there. My husband's project that I'm completing is really exhausting me, so I actually sleep through the night sometimes. I miss him so much and my heart aches. I know I will always miss him, but I'm hoping that I'll eventually be able to think about him without crying so hard. Right now is more difficult because his birthday is coming up and I don't know how to handle it. Thank goodness there are free grieving support groups; God know I can't afford to go to individual therapy.
