Just Believe Watercolor Cards

I wanted to start playing with watercolor paper, so I decided to start with a card similar to one we made at Convention last year.  I couldn't decide which colors I liked more, so I made 2 cards with different colors.  I LOVE the way markers and water can make a card look like a little work of art!

The first card uses Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Bashful Blue, and Not Quite Navy markers and the second card uses Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, and Melon Mambo markers.  You can't see it well, but both were spritz with some color using the Color Spritzer Tool and on the Melon Mambo card I even added some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz for some shine!

Thanks for visiting and let me know if you have any questions!

Easter M&M's Party Favor

Happy Monday to everyone!  I tried making a short video over the weekend and I encourntered many technical difficulties; mostly because my computer is considered ancient and can't handle the new softwares!  So, suffice it to say, I'm still working on that.  In the meantime, I wanted to show you this cute party favor I made with the Easter M&M's.  The bags measure 1"x8" and Stampin Up sells a packet of 50 for only $2.50 (item #124134)!  I put about 24 m&m's in each bag then tied a couple of bows and stamped a "thank you" from the Matchbox Messages Stamp Set.  Colors are Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White.

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

Autumn Days Fathers Day Card

I was thinking about a Father's Day Card, so I made this one first.  I'll probably make a couple more.  I think it's good to have some "male" cards arouind for birthdays and such.  I used this layout with the Rich Razzleberry on a card a couple of months ago, and I thought it would work for this stamp set too.  You can't see it well, but I watercolored "ground" using Crumb Cake before I stamped the grass; this way it gave the pheasant somewhere to walk.  I also cut out one of the pheasant and attached it with Dimensionals to give it a side-by-side look.  I hope you like it!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Autunm Days, Sanded Background stamp, and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla
Ink: Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry classic ink pads, Crumb Cake marker, Soft Suede marker, Rich Razzleberry marker, More Mustard marker, and Basic Black marker.
Accessories: Linen thread, Razzleberry Satin Ribbon, Lattice Embossing folder, Big Shot machine, Modern Label Punch, Word Window punch, Scallop Edge border punch, silver brads, dimensionals, and SNAIL.
